-Have to pair up tranny with tranny No you don't. You can use an auto ECU in a 5sp, but not the other way around.-Have to use 8 bit(90-93) ECU with a 93 or below car and 16 bit from 94 and up no you don't. There are plenty of people with later models running early ECU's. I am not sure how a 95 spec would work in an earlier model, however. -Can use an NA ECU, but the maps are different so I didnt want to go that route Of course the maps are different. But you can use the NA ECU if you install a TT chip in it. You must use an aftermarket boost controller, since the NA ECU will not have any way to control stock boost solenoids. Sorry to hear about your bad luck with ECU's. Since you're running a boost controller, you should be able to use your NA ECU with a TT chip in it (whether Ash's or otherwise).
